This is the rough design that i first came up with for my website homepage. I have since made a number of changes to this, which are in the final design.
The first change i made was to put a black bar underneath the menu writing, and move the writing to the top of the page. This makes it more clear to read it, and it stands out more.
The second change i made was to add a bar down the right hand side of the page with a couple of articles in boxes. These boxes contain articles with the latest news, such as 'exclusive photo shoot'.
The final change i made was to put film critics' ratings and views of the film at the side of the homepage. This is to help encourage viewers of the site to want to see the film. They may not have seen the critics' ratings on the film poster.
